Meet River

River is a somatic coach, Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) practitioner, and bodyworker with a private practice on the beautiful and vibrant land of Onöndowa’ga:’ (Rochester, NY). Their decade of experience as a body based practitioner, has supported many folks with their deep and profound healing journeys.

Their work is dedicated to pleasure, the re-integration of the body after trauma with body-centered practices, realtional repair, consent practices, and scar tissue remediation. In River’s sanctuary, they create a non-judgmental and welcoming space for queer, trans, non-binary folx, and women to receive care, befriend their bodies, and find support and joy with their relationships to others and the world around them.

River is a multimedia artist, and founder of the creator of The Erotic Arts Project, an online and in-person community project that celebrates the creative and erotic body. They believe that celebrating our bodies and desires gives us the freedom to lovingly and joyfully meander around the glorious depths of our erotic and creative worlds.
